The course of settlement in connection with the transfer of files from the Securities Centre

In connection with the notified technical break of Středisko cenných papírů (the Securities Centre), relating to the transfer of data files to Centrální depozitář cenných papírů (the Central Securities Depository), the settlement of securities trades filed by the Securities Centre will be suspended from 28 June to 2 July. The settlement will be renewed on 7 July, when all outstanding trades will be duly settled.

Notice for ČEZ shareholders: Issuer set up the record date for the dividend payment to 06/29/2010.That means that the last trading date (with the standard regime of settlement) with the right for the dividend is 06/22/2010.

The settlement of trades and transactions involving investment instruments filed by the Central Securities Depository (foreign investment instruments, certificates, and shares in collective bonds) will be secured on a day-to-day basis even during the technical break.

Burza cenných papírů Praha (the Prague Stock Exchange) will be open for business during the period concerned according to the valid timetable, without any changes.

Information of the transfer of the SCP records to CSD Prague

On 30 March 2010, the Ministry of Finance and the Central Securities Depository Prague Company (hereinafter "the CSD Prague“) approved the document "Project of the SCP Records Transfer“ (hereinafter "the Project“), following the contract on the SCP records transfer, concluded on 8 December 2009 and , among others, confirming the deadline of the transfer of the SCP records to the CSD Prague at the beginning of July this year. More information about the transfer of the SCP records to the CSD Prague are available on the CSD Prague website http://www.cdcp.cz/?language=english.

In connection with that it was also agreed to transfer the ISB Portal in favour of CSD Prague, what enables CSD Prague to maintain the same level of services to ISB Portal current services.

Service Account Availability

Středisko cenných papírů on the ISB Portal provided a free service – Verification of the Account Availability in the SCP – with some additional information. The CSD Prague will provide this service also in the way that, natural persons (individuals) can verify, on the basis of inserted Birth Number (Czech ID number), whether they have an active account in the SCP to the date of termination of the SCP. Functionality of verifying the evidence information related to the registration account number will not be provided. The complete description of the service you can find here.
