You have opened the Public Part of the ISB Portal. This part of the ISB Portal offers to you a number of information items that are freely available to all users with no registration required. Here you may obtain information about the ISB project, about the structure of the ISB project, about the manner of providing services as well as about the relating prices in case such services are in the category of those provided for remuneration.
Free Services in the Public Part of the ISB Portal provide information for surveying in the field or downloading (e.g., a list of booked issues of securities, a list of issuers, as well as other information items published by the CSD Prague from its own registers).
The Private Area of the Portal contains two categories of paid services, i.e., the services for the provision of which the customer is obligated to pay either the commercial price or recover the factual expenses for single services. The users of services available in this field of the ISB Portal send their requests into the ISB system through their internet scanners and secured communication by means of installed certificates. The first category of paid services involves General Information, which information may be obtained by any user registered as an ISB client. The second category of paid services involves Information for Selected Subjects such as notaries, executory staff or bailiffs, the Czech National Bank, Revenue Offices, etc. The availability of the information as above is limited for reasons of restrictions concerning the user profile, i.e., each user, or a group of users, shall only have access to defined information fields or to defined services contained in the mentioned category.
Further information on the ISB may be acquired through the option of Profile ISB. Also, we recommend to visiting the FAQ part where important answers can be found to some questions about how to work with the ISB.
Dear business partner, thank you for your interest in modern way of sending statements - electronic statements. On this page you can find instructions on how our electronic statements should be processed.
1. Format of Statement
Statements are sent to you as files in the PDF format and they are digitally signed with electronic mark and timestamped with qualified timestamp according to the Digital Signatures Act #227/2000 Sb. of the Czech Republic.
2. Recommended Viewer
As a viewer of the PDF format we recommend latest version of the Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded free of charge from web pages of Adobe Systems Incorporated. To be able to display our statements correctly you need version 8 or higher, so please upgrade if you still use some of the elder versions of this viewer.
3. Recommended Configuration of the Viewer
To be able to verify validity of the electronic mark and the qualified timestamp appended to our statement, you need root qualified certificate of the First Certification Authority (I.CA) installed in the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" system certificate store and your Adobe Reader correctly setup, too.
Installation of the Root Certificate
On the web pages of I.CA (menu "Manage Certificates" item "I.CA Root Certificates SHA-2") look for the "Certification authority root certificate for QUALIFIED certificates/qualified system certificate" and download and install the certificate.
Adobe Reader Setup
After successful installation of the root certificate please launch the Adobe Reader and select "Preferences..." from the "Edit" menu (or press Ctrl+K). In the following dialog window select "Security" category in the left list and then click the "Advanced Preferences..." button. Dialog "Digital Signatures Advanced Preferences" with three cards should open.
Check of the Certificate Revocation List
In the first "Verification" card there is a checkbox labeled "Require certificate revocation checking to succeed whenever possible during signature verification". If you are sure that your computer is going to be connected to Internet whenever you work with our statements and that this connection is going to be reliable, feel free to keep this option checked. Otherwise please uncheck it.
Cooperation with System Certificate Store
In the third "Windows Integration" card there should be at least these two options checked:
• "Enable searching the Windows Certificate Store for certificates other than yours" and
• "Validating Signatures".
4. Validation of the Electronic Mark
After opening of our statement in the Adobe Reader you will see information that the PDF document is digitally signed. If you move you mouse cursor onto this information, yellow text "Valid signature" will be displayed. If you click with the left mouse button onto the very same place, "Signature Validation Status" dialog will pop up with detailed information about the electronic mark and the qualified timestamp. This is how the electronic mark can easily be validated using the Adobe Reader viewer.
