Verification of the Account Availability in the Unclassified Registration

The service enables to individuals (natural persons) and legal persons to verify on the basis of inserted an identification number Birth Number (RČ) for a natural person, company ID (IČ) for a legal person or a substitute ID (NID) for a foreign person or a person with a duplicity of the Birth number assigned by the Securities Centre, whether they have an active, unclassified account in the central Register of Securities in Prague Central Depository („CSD“). The information is provided to the date given in the application.

The service does not provide information about asset accounts that are kept by CSD participants or that were transferred into separated registers administrated by investment companies. Account availability of such an account can be verified only by a participant that operates such an account or by the investment company that transmitted asset accounts from the Securities Centre or from the CSD into a separated register and since that time it has been operating it itself.

Input Form

• Enter the Birth number/ Company ID/NID of the account owner. The system does not permit inserting less than 8 and more than 10 numeric figures excluding slash. In case of entering the Birth Number of nine figure length neither zero figure is to be input prior to the Number itself nor beyond it. The company ID shorter than 8 numeric figures has to be filled from left side by numbers 0 up to the total number of 8 figures (for example 00054321). After the identification number has been inserted, the requirement will be sent out, by clicking the button “Confirm”. The value has to be filled in.

Service Output

In case the active unclassified account for the given identification number has been found, the application will answer that the account exists and it will appeal for contacting any CSD participant for getting more information.

In case the active unclassified account for the given identification number has not been found, the application will answer that the account does not exist.

The finding no asset account can be caused by the following reasons:

• Inaccurately entered birth number/ company ID/ NID
• For account has been cancelled because of zero number of registered securities
• The asset account was transferred under operation of a CSD participant.
